Description: Location: Elderbloom - Jacaranda Lodge Aged Care Job Type: Casual Pay: $25.85/hour casual loading penalty rates Roster: Various hours available, Monday - Sunday About The Role Join our friendly and professional team as a Catering Assistant at our aged care facility in Wanneroo. This hands-on role offers flexible hours and the chance to make a real difference in the daily lives of our residents. You will be integral to creating a warm and enjoyable mealtime experience. Your responsibilities will include assisting with food preparation, serving meals, and providing essential support to the kitchen team. What This Role Involves Assisting with food preparation, including salads, sandwiches, and texture-modified meals Providing excellent customer service by serving residents’ meals and snacks Re-stocking supplies as needed, including after meal periods Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen and dining areas Setting tables, plating meals, and supporting the chef with general kitchen duties Skills and Experiences: The Ideal Candidate Will Have Have previous experience in food preparation and/or customer service Possess previous contract catering experience (desirable) Work effectively as part of a team to meet resident needs and service expectations Must hold a valid driver’s license and have access to your own vehicle Be willing to undergo a Police Check and undertake a flu vaccination What We Offer Uniform provided Staff benefits and retail discounts (450 stores nationwide!)
